You then have all the tools you need to on-sell our complete suite of air charter services and be issued a 5% commision on every sale.

This applies to ALL FLIGHT routes that are listed on our booking app at www.lilypad.au

For instance selling a Perth-Margaret River flight for 4pax will net an Ambassador over A$120 commission.

Commissions are paid automatically by the Booking platform upon completion of the booking.

The next step is to complete a competency check ride on your preferred aircraft type (Cessna 172 or Piper Cherokee 6 PA32). This will be billed at our standard private hire rate (no cost to you for the checking pilot). If you don't have experience on the type a minimum 5 hours will required. If you show full competency with one flight, the check pilot may approve you to proceed to Private hire immediately.

After meeting competency standards for our aircraft fleet handling as per our organisations minimums, you will be elligible for private hire of nominated non charter hire aircraft. Use this avenue to conduct more flights to further consolidate our trust and faith in you as a careful and safe aviator. Invite friends and family to cost share on your private hires and build your local area flight and passenger handling experience.

The Air Taxi Ready Course whas been developed as a practical bridge between traditional flight training (Airline ready training, which won't help you here) and real-world commercial micro-charter operations within the Lilypad/ Rottnest Air Taxi environment.

The goal is to develop pilot graduates from not just sausage factory licence holders, but operationally deployable in:

• Part 135 air taxi operations

• Tourism and customer-facing aviation

• High-frequency regional charter environments

• Next-generation electric and hybrid aviation ecosystems

The program is centred around:

• Cessna 172 operations

• Piper Cherokee Six familiarisation

• Next generation aircraft transitioning

• Real commercial workflow exposure

• Safety culture and operational discipline

• Customer-first aviation operations

The course includes 5 hours flight time (total) on 2 aircraft types and extensive safety and operational training and checking centered around Air Taxi operations (high frequency, short distance).

Completing this course does not automatically make you eligible for probation, remember, it's a long romance to develop the trust and accountability required to fully integrate into our team.

But it does get you 5 hours flight time and genuinely prepares you for entering the general aviation workforce with a broad rage of skills and awareness you will not get in a general airline focused flight school. And if you are a superstar in the course, you will be ready for fastrack to the probationalry pilot stage.

Once you have completed the Air Taxi Ready program, become a regular private hire user, demonstrated strong operational competency and consistency in ambassador sales (earning some sweet commissions along the way), and gained the trust of the Safety Manager and Operations Manager, you’ll be ready to meet the Head of Flight Operations.

At this stage, you may be invited to an onboarding interview. If successful, the HOFO may engage you as a probationary pilot, allowing you to begin operating selected charter flights you help generate and coordinate, while also supporting overflow operations and covering key personnel leave periods.

Following a successful probationary period, eligible pilots may progress to “Checked to Line” status within the FlyOnE / Lilypad operational network.

At this stage, pilots are assessed as capable of independently supporting live commercial operations during peak demand periods, seasonal surges, and expanded charter activity across the network.

Checked to Line pilots may also become eligible for:

• deployment into new operational regions,

• transition onto additional aircraft types,

• advanced operational responsibilities,

• and participation in the rollout of new Lilypad destinations and services across Australia and beyond.

As the network expands, this pathway is designed to create real opportunities for pilots who demonstrate professionalism, consistency, strong customer engagement, and alignment with FlyOnE’s next-generation aviation culture.
